Felix R. Ramos, DDS
“Doc, do you also moonlight for children’s parties?” Is a phrase that Dr. Ramos has grown accustomed to as his patients’ laughter is often heard echoing throughout the hallways of the clinics and hospitals where he has worked.
Dr. Ramos is a board eligible pediatric dentist who received his dental degree from the University of Maryland's Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and honed his pediatric specialty training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in affiliation with Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City. During his residency, Dr. Ramos managed complex trauma cases and provided comprehensive care for underserved children, medically compromised patients and those with special needs and different abilities.
Prior to his career in dentistry, he proudly served by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the prestigious Silent Drill Platoon. While he was stationed in Washington D.C., he befriended Dr. Khurana (a college student at the time) and they became the best of friends when they were just teenagers! With a friendship spanning over 20 years, it is only fitting that Dr. Ramos joins Dr. Khurana as a member of the Sporting Smiles family.
Away from the office, Dr. Ramos enjoys spending time with his dogs (Kodak and Gatsby) and exploring the outdoors. He is an experienced triathlete and can frequently be found road biking or running the trails. He is especially close to his dear friends and family and enjoys connecting with the community in which he works and lives.
