At Sporting Smiles, the doctors and staff implement patient-focused care, where a patient’s needs, preferences, and beliefs are respected at all times. Our staff is experienced, trained and sensitive to working with children and their parents.
We are board-certified and board-eligible specialists providing pediatric and orthodontic dental services for infants, children, adolescents and patients of all ages with special and behavioral needs.
A ‘Board Certified’ specialist or ‘Diplomate’ is a dentist with exceptional knowledge and expertise to a level above other dentists. Board certification requires verification of credentials and successful completion of written and oral examinations. A specialist with this level of certification or eligibility exhibits a drive to achieve excellence in their field.
At Sporting Smiles, our number one priority is ensuring that your child receives the support they need to become the best dental patient possible. When treating your loved ones, we make every effort to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for the whole family. By collaborating with your child’s pediatrician as well as other dental and medical specialists, we ensure that every patient receives the best comprehensive care possible.
We are trained to ensure that your child has a safe and comfortable dental visit, and we hope to be part of the team that helps care for your family.
We are conservative in our approach to treatment and believe that prevention is key to promoting healthy smiles. Through dental education, we strive to give every child the tools they need to live happy, healthy and cavity free!
We serve patients in Gainesville, Haymarket, Piedmont, Warrenton, and the surrounding areas.

Each of our clinical team members have a minimum 3-5 years of experience working with pediatric patients. They have either completed or are currently registered with the Dental Assisting National Board where they are required to take a series of 4 examinations to be considered ‘certified’ and/or ‘registered’ and nationally recognized in their field - this includes all aspects of dentistry. Our clinical staff also undergo patient sensitivity training before being allowed to work with any children or patients with special needs or different abilities.
Team members are required to complete additional digital radiography, OSHA and HIPAA training. Our practice takes the national recognition and additional certifications very seriously and actually pay for this additional education for our team members.
All team members (both clinical and administrative) routinely accompany our team of doctors to three annual continuing education conferences. Our doctors personally work with, train and supervise all of our team members to ensure our patients are receiving the best care possible.
Our practice follows all state guidelines and mandates very strictly. This is exactly the reason why so many local dental hygienists and general dentists actually bring their children to our practice for routine cleanings and treatment!
We really are so proud of our hardworking staff and their commitment to the children of our practice.
