Clinical Coordinator
Tara is a dual-certified pediatric and orthodontic assistant with over a decade of dental experience. Tara worked as a key member on the Ocean and Monmouth County Craniofacial Team in New Jersey focusing on cleft palate. She is also credentialed at various hospitals in Northern Virginia where she is able to assist Dr. Khurana in providing dentistry under general anesthesia for pediatric patients and patients with special needs and different abilities.
Tara’s husband, Kevin, is an active duty member of the US Air Force. Tara acts as a “Key Spouse” for the US Air Force, where she provides a support system for other military spouses and partners. Tara and Kevin have a beautiful daughter and son, and in their spare time, they enjoy spending time with their extended family. Tara is also an accomplished violinist, and her favorite pastime is watching football on Sundays.
Sporting Smiles has taken measures above and beyond the minimum expectations to ensure the safety of all staff members , as well as every patient. I realized any concerns I had of making appointments during the current COVID situation were unfounded as soon as the protocol and preventative measures were explained to me. The doctors are also top notch, extremely professional, and you can tell this is more than “just a job” for them. They truly care about their patients, I would recommend this practice without hesitation!
